“The Auralic Vega S1 sounds great. I think the improved platform makes a difference and I did get the power supply as well. Better than my previous Aries G1. And Upscale is the best. Gave me great service when there was a hiccup with my first unit. Complaints? I swear I read that it was going to be Roon Ready on release (it's not) and set up was not easy. But having the Upscale team makes a difference and now I am a happy customer. I like the DAC in this version. Since I had the Aries, I had no experience with an Auralic DAC. Nice and open sound. Detailed, but not clinical. Really impressed with the bass on it. Really comes alive.”
