“I upgraded to the Aura from an Aria but made the mistake of upgrading my cartridge to an Aphelion at the same time. The combo sounds great, but I'm not sure which component contributed what. Either way count me as a very happy camper!”

“Upgraded from the PS Audio Stellar Phono Preamp. PS Audio was a solid performer, but the Rega Aura MC is a big step up in performance. The Aura is pulling more music from the grooves. Sound quality is amazing and has a super low noise floor (faintest hum can be heard if I place my ear on my speaker). And don’t get me started on the bass. Wow! I don’t regret making the jump up in price that I did. Every cent was well spent! Couldn’t be happier!!”

“Very quiet, abundant gain, surprisingly "tube-like" sound; simultaneously usable balanced and unbalanced outputs are a welcome feature. Solid utilitarian-but-attractive design; the knobs and buttons have a somewhat cheap feel (cost-cutting measure?), but they seem reasonably durable and functional. Owner's manual minimalist but perfectly adequate. Considering the relatively modest price, this an extremely satisfying phono pre!”
