“I'm very impressed with this Nordost Ax Angel cable. I've had some decent speaker cable, but this took the sound to a whole new level -- more detail, imaging, and sound stage. Plus, the price was half off. Nordost has a stellar reputation, and now I know why. Highly recommended.”

“I'd been using a trio of AudioQuest Type 8 speaker cables with my 15-year-old beloved Focal 918 flood standers and 908 center channel in an HT and 2-channel setup. I was a non-believer in much of the hype with "high-end" audio cabling. I am here to say there is no "snake oil" here. The increased detail in all frequencies is undeniable. I believe in making one judgment from experience over many individual reviews, and now I offer this personal opinion. Upgrading cabling increases one enjoyment of the music. I cannot listen long enough. I can't wait to retire, devoting more time to explore a lifetime catalog of music.”

“I had, what I thought to be, adequate speaker cables, but given the special pricing and reputation of Nordost cables, together with Upscale Audio's excellent return policy, I decided to give them a these a try. Wow, what a difference! I never thought my system was veiled, until I connected these. The air, resolution, and location specificity around instruments and vocalists is noticeably improved, and an upper midrange glare in my system was smoothed. Now I understand! As these cables are at the lower end of Nordost' range, I can't imaging what improvements might be revealed with the much more expensive cables in the line, but for now I am very satisfied with the improvement and performance/cost ratio that these cables have brought to my system. Highly recommended!”
