“Bought this cart. to replace the Sumiko Moonstone that came preinstalled on a new Pro-Ject X2 TT (also purchased from Upscale). The Blue Point sounds much more open & the imaging is cleaner. I was skeptical about the whole "break in" period that people are always talking about, but I can tell this cart. is sounding a bit better the more it's played. Definitely recommend this cart. Just remember it's a moving coil & you'll likely need a separate preamp.”

“This is my third cartridge for my Tech.1500c turntable. It came with a 2m red, i upgraded to an AT 540 mcl . I purchased the Sumiko BP special EVO111 based on info provided by Upscale experts. Its high output works well with my old Acoustech phono stage circa 1998. The entire system opened up, base & midrange were so much better. I am very happy with my purchase .”
