“I purchased the Berkeley Series 3 on the recommendation of Sean from Upscale. It is simply an outstanding DAC. It renders beautifully. Dynamics are present and dramatic, but without overly aggressive or harsh tonalities in louder passages that make many other DACs annoyingly unmusical. At the same time, it delivers these dynamics without sounding compressed. Very open and detailed but with plenty of attack and enthusiasm. A worthy product in my system path. Very pleased.”
