“Needed a CD transport to feed an Eversolo DMP-A8 streamer after the Dennon DVD player died. Wanted to use the high end dac in the eversolo, so I didn't need a player. After doing some research I picked the Cambridge CXC. Called Upscale audio and ordered it. As always Kevin's company and employees are top notch. Highly recommended Thanks again. The Cambridge is fantastic. Just what my cd collection needed. Folks Upscale is Fantastic I have bought all of my Gear through them. There's a reason why. Like when you find a great mechanic shop to fix your car you stick with them. Kudos to Kevin and his team”

“This is a great CD transport. I'm playing it with a Rogue Audio integrated amplifier and Wharfdale Linton speakers and it sounds wonderful. I can't justify spending too crazy on my hifi gear but do like getting the best sound I can in the more affordable zone. I feel like this product has given me my money's worth. The loading tray is quiet. The readout display window provides helpful CD information (title of CD, number of tracks, total playing time and time remaining). And the sound quality is reminding me of music I have'nt heard since playing vinyl in the 1980's when I originally switched to CDs. I'm glad I purchased this Cambridge product. I'll consider other Cambridge products from now on.”

“Incredible value. I had been using an old (20+ years) Panasonic CD Player, and an old Blu-Ray Disc player for playing CDs. These were the weak link in my system. My system still sounded great, but I was looking for more. On Upscale Audio's recommendation, I purchased the Cambridge Audio CXC v2. I was expecting a small improvement in sound. The actual improvement was stunning. Better isolation of instruments, improved soundstage, and clarity. I did not think this much improvement was possible at this price. I am very pleased with this purchase, and extremely pleased with the service I received in helping me make this selection.”

“Does its job perfectly. Good size, interface, and price compared to other transports that do the exact same thing for a much higher fee. Wish the remote that came with it wasn't an all-around CX brand remote that clustered the buttons all at the bottom, but that's not important and I can find a new remote if need be.”
