“I have been using this amp full time for a few of weeks and I am quickly falling in love with it. I don't want to sell its sound or build quality short-don't get me wrong, both are awesome. But its ease of use is what sets it apart from your average integrated amp. The Evo 150 has a musical character that is laidback and easy to escape into (playing through Elac Debut Reference 6.2 bookshelves). My current speakers are a very good sonic match, and I see this amplifier scaling well as I upgrade my speakers down the line. The build quality and industrial design of the amp are also stellar, it looks great on display and has a feel of immense quality when you engage with it (my wife approves too)! Regardless of these sonic and design strengths, I feel that the best thing about my Evo 150 is that it makes listening to music so damn easy! I downsized to this all-in-one amp from a large separates system which sounded great but made listening to music an overly-involved process. My wife and are listening to so much more music now because of how easy and fun it is to use the Evo 150. Whenever either of us is working in the open-concept living room/kitchen space in our home we are streaming Tidal from our phones, and without fail whatever task we had is put aside because we are pulled together onto the couch to listen, or we are up dancing around the room. I am not trying to be cheesy here, what makes the Evo 150 so awesome is that it not only sounds and looks great but also that it is being used all the time. It has us listening to more music, which is the whole point of this hobby, right? It really is an awesome piece, I highly recommend it.”
