“Excellent phono preamp. Tonally accurate with extremely musical and warm sound. Paired perfectly with my Manley Stingray. Very addicting..... can't stop flipping vinyl :) Upscale is the place to buy Manely too!”

“Had a little bonus money to burn, and spoke to Kevin about a tube upgrade. I'm new to tubes, so my thoughts were of Mullard etc. Kevin steered me to the National NOS in Platinum, with the cryo treatment. All I can say is forget my previoius review, as these tubes create a whole new world. This phono/tube combo has incredible clarity, image, texture. Not a soft tube sound, just musically accurate with no fatigue at all. Essentially a time machine, as you will find yourself spending hours in your listening chair till the wee hours”

“First venture into tubes here .my new mc cartridge output was too low for my inboard phono section, I took Kevins advice and bought Chinook. First 30 hours were trying, but got the right resistance and capacitance settings. I have very revealing electrostatic speakers and detailed solid state electronics. Drums,voices, bass are all there in a natural state. Wouldnt trade for another regardless of price. Too bad they priced it so low or it would be Class a”
