“Perfect finish, substantial and heavy build, and multiple connection options. And solid, filling bass. The Classic 98 also has far more gain than I will ever need. I have it hooked up to my Yamaha AS-801 via the sub out. My vintage speakers that it matches most are my Sonics AS-447a speakers. This sub sounds as good as it looks and was reasonably easy to blend into the system.”

“Like all speakers, it took a while for my new subwoofer to burn in. The sub came to life last weekend and has settled in perfectly. Home run for REL, thanks to Kevin and the gang. It was his video with the REL rep that brought the Classic 98 into my orbit. I am looking at a second Classic 98 to complete the room and I know where I am going to go to purchase it.”
