“I am so glad I went with this over the 98. I’m sure the 98 is fantastic, but the 99 is perfect for me. I can’t imagine ever not having a sub now. I’m pairing this with a pair of Sonus Faber Lumina 2s in a 13x13ft room with 9ft ceilings and it is sooo good. I thought maybe the 99 would be overkill in this size room but it isn’t at all. I’m using the high level connection and it blends so well into the music that I can’t even tell where the bass is coming from. It’s deep, soft, and warm. It really is an experience for the whole body, not just for the ears. Another thing that I’m pleasantly surprised with is that I can crank this up and it fills the room without leaving anything left to be desired, but it doesn’t bleed out into the whole house when my door is shut, which is nice because I do live with other people and I’m in a townhouse so I do have close neighbors also. I have zero regrets buying this and will cherish this for a loooooong time to come.”
