“This is an amazing product! Kevin has put together a world-class package on one of the best turntables ever. I always wanted a VPI Classic Signature, but I had a Scout II that was working really well. So, I waited. Then, the Classic Signature went out of regular production, and I kicked myself for not getting one. Just out of curiosity I looked up the VPI section on the Upscale web site. I saw this table with the HW feet and gimbaled Fat Boy tonearm, and I knew I had to get it. I contacted the folks at Upscale and went with a SoundSmith Paua II ES cartridge. I’m listening to it now, and it’s incredible. I haven’t even really broken it in yet, but I can tell this is going to be the last ‘table I ever own. It’s so detailed and quiet. You get the black backgrounds and detail you expect from digital sources with the added beauty and warmth of vinyl. It’s amazing! You can select a cartridge from the list of recommended components, or you can (as I did) choose something with which you may be more familiar. Either way, you’re going to love this ‘table. Super highly recommended!”
