“I'm not a huge audiophile but my brother is and he recommended both Upscale Audio and this turntable as a great option for more value at a reasonable price. I have a decent older home theatre setup with a Pioneer SC-1223-K receiver and Polk RT800i fronts and wanted to add a turntable spending around $1,000 or less. Bill at Upscale was very helpful in recommending the Pro-Ject S2 Ultra phono Box to go with the Evo Turntable and based on his advice I also upgraded the stylus from the Rainier that comes with it to the Moonstone = another performance boost for marginal investment. It all sounds great to me and the Evo with the Moonstone running through the Pro-Ject Phono Box S2 Ultra is probably all I'll need to enjoy vinyl again for years to come.”
