The best AVR Denon has made to date. Incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. The finest of internal parts, the best sounding audio I’ve heard from Denon yet. Randall was a pleasure to work with and gave the best customer service one could expect! I will be doing business again with Upscale Audio because of Randall’s outstanding customer service!

I’ve owned the Denon AVR-X8500H for nearly two years now. I’ve been so impressed with its performance I just didn’t see how Denon could improve upon the audio quality. Until now. Denon’s AVR-A110 is uniquely tuned for the true audiophile that knows what to listen for in high performance audio gear. The AVR-A110 is the best sounding AVR I’ve ever heard hands down. With better compactors, a copper plate to support the power supply (just naming a few), the A110 has over 400 upgraded parts than their current top of the line AVR-X8500H (so I’ve read) and a friend of mine and I noticed the audible difference right out of the box before we even calibrated it with Audyssey. I’ve been a Denon fan and owner of many of their previous AVR’s since 1999, including the behemoth AVR-5308ci back in 2008. The AVR-A110 13.2 receiver sounds superior to any of Denon’s previous audio gear including separates or AVR’s. Not to mention it’s 8K hdmi output is astoundingly better than 4K. The AVR-A110’s hdmi switching is much faster than my X8500H which takes about 2 seconds as apposed to the X8500H takes about 4 to 6 seconds depending on the source you’re switching to. The chassis is a beautiful silver graphite color (which looks great with black or silver components). Denon’s Master Engineer Takahashi, Yuuki took the design of the AVR-X8500H and improved what was already an amazing receiver to a whole other level for Denon’s 110th anniversary. I could go on and on about how great this receiver is, but there’s only a limited number of these AVR’s available. So if you’re lucky enough to get one before their sold out, I highly recommend doing so provided it’s in your budget. If not, I’d recommend getting the X8500H while they’re still available.
