“I am still testing the PS Audio direct stream DAC. When I first installed the DAC the sound was great! Now the sound is not as good, but I think the issue is with the AURALiC Aries G2 streamer upstream of the DAC. I hope to have this all sorted out before the end of the trial period.”

“It's simple: If you're going to listen to digital, you need to have one of these. I replaced a gorgeous sounding, quite expensive Cary cd player that crapped out and was just too old to fix. I was always happy with the way that thing sounded but it had to be 15 years old and it was time to fix my system's weak link. So in a moment of insanity I popped for this and later for the memory player. The detail in all kinds of music, from cd's I've been listening to for years is amazing, never harsh or "digital". Even the dac's preamp sounds fabulous (after loading the latest software) straight into my tube amp. Very pleased.”
