“Purchased my PL Dialogue Premium HP amp about 4 years ago. Also purchased the Dialogue Premium Pre-Amp around the same time. Very good performance right out of the box, even better after say 80hours on both units. Was a bit on the warm side for my classic rock taste, so per Kevin's advice , swapped stock EL84's for Tung-sol KT 120's in the amp, and Brimar 4034's in front slots and Cifte 12au7's in the middle with stock PL 12au7's in rear with stock PL rectifiers in Pre-Amp. Spot on advice, killer bass, smooth clean midrange, and sweet, clear, detailed top end. Perfect balance, actually excellent results in sonic performance. The quality of this gear is A-1. I don't think you can do better without spending much, much more. Sourced with a Marantz SA8005 and a pair of Focal Aria 926's, it puts me in audible joy. Everything still working and sounding great to date, happy I am!! For tube gear that nails it, especially with the ability to tube roll almost anything you want, this gear nails it. Got them both in silver, very attractive.”

“I've been an audiophile for over 55 years, always buying/trading for what's best, but never reaching that elusive goal of the realistic system. It doesn't exist, IMO. However it is possible to arrive at "great" and ultimately a keeper system which satisfies musically so that it immerses you in subjectively real sensation and pleasure wherein I no longer am critically listening but amazed at the naturalness, i.e. to allow long sessions without tiring of listening. That level was reached, for me, with the replacement of the ARC Ref 210 monos with PL HP monos using KT 150s, per advice of Kevin. I may play with room treatment and wire a bit but the PLs with Wilson speakers complete my search.”

“After years of Audio musical chairs my search is over, my PL Dialogue Premium HP Amplifier replaced my McIntosh MC 302. In terms of performance: Bass Tone, Midrange Liquidity and High Delicacy there is no comparison, the 3D imaging and soundstage bursts from the blackest of backgrounds, Bravo Primaluna! My system consists of Revel F208 Speakers, M2Tech Young DSD DAC w/ M2Tech power Supply, MIT cabling and a dedicated Solid State mini computer. Out of the box COLD it crushed my McIntosh MC 302 in all performance parameters. What really surprised me was the Bass, it had beautiful tone, pitch and depth, I heard bass in the lower registers that I thought my Revels where incapable of WOW! I was so impressed that I contacted Kevin and Purchased the PL Dialogue Preamp (Read review).”

“As of this writing my amp has less than 40 hrs on it. Coupled with a PrimaLuna Prologue 3 preamp and Ah! CD player with up-sampler. My system is dead silent at idle and then the fun begins. Speaker load used to be Dynaudio 8 ohm home builts and now Focal 4 ohm Electra 1028 Be s'. What a system! Still using stock tubes until amp has run its 100 hrs. and then we will see. Have KT-120's to drop in along with Gold Lion 12au7s'. Hard to imagine this amp getting any better but it will. Any music material comes to life in a 3D wall of sound. My neighbor stated "You are not listening to music. You are at the event!" This amplifier does its job, it just gets out of the way and lets the music and emotion shine through. How much more powerful can you get than that?”

“I just bought this amp early this month and my search for a killer amp has ended. The musical qualities of this amp are exceptional. the music is presented in a textural way as if you can reach out and touch it. the bass is deep and powerful, I had to turn down my sub, the midrange and treble are liquid and flowing and you are drawn into the music like no other amp I have ever heard. Congratulations to Prima Luna and Kevin Deal for bringing to market such great products”
