This is my first LOMC ( bought the low version) and it is my go to cartridge. Exceeds my other MM and HOMC cartridges by a big margin. The output is on the high side for a LOMC which may be good if you use a tube phono stage. When this one requires replacement I will probably use the DV trade in program and buy another one. Also easy to mount and align. Great cartridge.

I am currently using this Mk2 cartridge and prefer it to the Dynavector 20X2h, which I also own. Art Dudley's review was of the MK1, but it totally applies to the MK2, also. The 10X5 has a midrange presence that makes most of my records come alive. It sounds big, and makes the 20X2h sound small and distant in comparison. Small is not a good sound if you listen to rock. And the 10X5 never sounds hard, which the 20X2h often did, in my system. If you want Led Zeppelin to sound like little jazz band playing off in a corner, go with the 20X2h. I bought the 20X2h thinking it was an upgrade for my 10yr old 10X5 MK1, but I eventually went back to the 10X5 (MK2 this time). The 20X2h is very quiet, but so is the MK2. The 20X2 may be more dynamic, but that may also be because it is coming from such a smaller place to start.

I have used the 10X5 for many years. I've tried others but this is my go-to cartridge. It is punchy emphasizing the midrange - great for rock, jazz, etc. The high output is a plus for vintage tube gear with a high noise floor. It is chunky sounding though. You will not get maximum shimmer and subtlety out of this one, just good clean fun.
