“Did not work correctly in my mono block ANK PSE amps. Loud constant mechanical hissing. EH 300b tubes work great but not the rectifiers.”

Hi Nick, We are sorry to hear that these did not work for you as well as you had hoped. 5U4 rectifier tubes of all brands can be finicky and work great in one amp, and then not well in another amp. It is best to stay with what the manufacturer recommends as a replacement. When other brands fail and a heavy-duty version is needed we recommend the JJ brand rectifier.
