“I wouldn't expect much difference between the Electro-Harmonix and the Sovek as it only serves as a power regulator in an ARC Ref6SE - - but unexpectedly, it seems to be a better match with the Electro Harmonix preamp tubes that are currently in this unit - - this opinion is for sure a bit iffy and I did order the regular Sovtek and at some point I'll A B a bit and report back when I review the Sovtek - - I don't like pulling tubes just to play around, I like to keep the sockets as pristine as possible - but I will give this EH 6550 a thumbs up regardless.”
