Rolled tubes in my new Unison Unico 150 hybrid IA what a difference over the standard tubes a gold pin Cyro matched tubes from Upscale made. I have bought numbers of tubes from Upscale never disappointed.

After I let it run in for 4 days, I sit down and seriously listen........this so called super tube changes the feel of the music. It's a sure win upgrade for my ARC Ref 3 pre. The overall sound deeper, more details and bass improved!

I installed these tubes in my ARC PH-8 phono stage and as the hours roll on, they just get better and better. I got the same improvement from these tubes as I did when they were installed in my ARC REF-3 preamp. The combination is making for the best 3D sound that has ever come out of my system. Such fun to hear Paul Desmond standing right in front of you. Highly recommended!

I installed 5 of these gold pin little beauties along with a Sovtek 6550 WE into my REF-3 yesterday. I had a lengthy listening session last night and my first impression was ... WOW! These tubes are quiet ... dynamic range is improved along with transparency, and most of all musicality. I highly recommend these as a replacement for the stock ARC tubes.

I purchased the platinum grade, cryogenically treated tubes. I gave these tubes a respectable 200 hours of operation with multiple power cycles to be sure of my conclusions. Though they did break in and improve during this period, by the end the first impression I had still stood - these are not as good in any respect when compared to the stock Sovtek-branded tubes from Audio Research that came with my LS17SE preamp. However, Audio Research charges US residents $140+ for a pair, so this should be taken into consideration; hence my measured title for the review. Strengths: -Frequency extension was respectable without any treble roll-off and excellent bass. -Imaging was precise Weaknesses (comparative review [vs. stock tubes from AR]): -Images not as rich -More congestion and difficulty sorting through complex passages -Less believable transients -Soundstage width slightly narrower; depth considerably narrower with an overall "flat" presentation Had I not heard the stock AR tubes I could have lived with these and not been the wiser. They are not bad performers, but just not up to par in my opinion. The biggest overall gestalt about them is they just don't pass the foot tap test and don't sound as believably real as the stock tubes. I don't know if another 100 hours or so would do much but I'm not going to try and find out. These will not be staying in my system and I personally am going to stick with the stock tubes and likely swap them out for another pair from AR when due for a change.

These were a nice upgrade from the 6H30s that came with my ARC VSi60.

These tubes were a great upgrade to the stock tubes that came with the Little Dot Headphone Amp. The amp sounded great before, now it is even better. Once agin Kevin comes through. Thanks
