“These are in a stage of my mono block stereo power amps. Tremendous! Noticeable difference in definition of the “Stage Field” and wonderful clear, tight bass. Mids and top end open and smooth. Everything Kevin says in the description is 100% true. Buy these (platinum grade with Cryo) if you use EL84’s; you will not regret it!!!”

“I am using the 2 Tungsram 6BQ5 / EL84 tubes in a single ended pentode amplifier. I really like these tubes very well balanced. Amp puts out roughly 3.75 watts per side. This custom amplifier is based on Dave Gillespie’s work with the magnavox 8601/8604 console stereo.”
