“I am really enjoying these Minorca MC40's. I've only had them for a month and I have maybe 30 hours of burn-in on them, but they sound incredible already. I tested quite a few different bookshelf speakers. Originally I was only considering units with a folded ribbon tweeter, but when I came across the sale at Upscale Audio I wanted to give the Cabasse a try. It turned out to be a great decision. The Minorca sound is a perfect blend of crisp and airy highs without any harshness and rich, almost warm mids. I get excellent sound staging, and my listening room is far from perfect. The bass is a little thin but it's very tight, which I'm ok with because this is for 90% music and only the occasional movie. But I do have them paired with a Rythmik 12" sub to help with the low end. I'm powering them with the Cambridge Audio cxa-81 mkII and they work really, really well together. Perhaps my favorite attribute of the Minorca MC40 is that I can listen at low levels around 45-50 db and still get all of the same detail that I get at 75 db. So now having spent some time with Cabasse speakers, I'm hooked. I highly recommend taking advantage of Upscale's sale. You won't be disappointed.”

“Great speakers but one of mine had a large brown stain on the white cone, most likely from too much adhesive on the dust cap. I emailed upscale about it twice and never received a response.”

“very clear mids and highs immage and soundstage well beautiful looks bass comes up a bit short as does all bookshelves, sub solves it. These speakers do disapear. Upscale audio sales and sales manager was very helpfull on my concerns (nice!) 1st time buyer and will not be the last”

“These speakers are just amazing. they replaced a set of B&W 606 S2's. Really opened up the soundstage. Hearing things I wasn't hearing on the B&W's. Don't think those are bad either but after a month of use, these outperform my previous speakers. thanks to everyone at Upscale for awesome service. I will be back for my next purchase for sure!!”
