“To start, I want to apologize for the delay in writing this review. I received these Focal Bathys headphones as a gift at the same time I received some unfortunate health news which has taken up most of my time and energy. There are many reviews that can speak to the specs and features of these headphones that are very informative and well written. What I can say is that for what I use them for, they are very, very good. I had considered purchasing these headphones so, it is great to have them now as a complement to my other headphones. These headphones are closed back, cordless and noise canceling. They are a bit smaller than my Focal Clear and my Sennheiser 650 which makes them ideal for travel, working at your desk or taking walks. Also the case is great. I’m very pleased to have these as part of my headphone collection. I always receive excellent service from Upscale Audio. Thank you very much.”

“These headphones feel premium and fit very comfortably. I wasn't really that moved by the sound on the first listen, but over the break in period I have noticed improvements in the overall sound. The highs are really crisp and smooth without causing ear fatigue. The bass is deep but not overly powerful. There is no physical vibration in the ear cups. Almost sounds like the sound floats, not sure how to explain but the headphones produces a very detailed, smooth and somewhat spacious sound stage. Great for most high-res music. You will most likely hear details you hadn't heard with lesser headphones but not sure everyone will choose these to listen to hip hop or heavy bass music. Highly recommended for anything else in my opinion. Oh and DAC mode sounds even more crisp!”

“Great sound. Long range Bluetooth connectivity. Very comfortable. Stylish. Noise-canceling is excellent. Worth the money given the investment into the overall system.”

“As much as I would love to haul my Hi-Fi equipment around wherever I go, it always ends up being a pinch too impractical. 400 lbs or gear just isn’t travel friendly. Thankfully for me, the Focal Bathys get pretty dang close to my home Hi-Fi, all in a convenient, headphone-shaped package.”
