“These speakers are very impressive. The more they break in, the warming they get. They sound great at all volumes but low volume listening is just incredibly detailed. I highly recommend these for all types of music.”

“Many moons ago, I owned a pair of the Chorus 816 tower speakers from Focal. I remember how much detail I heard but never fatiguing. Many times, I wished I never let those go. I was reluctant to go with these because I didn’t want black this time, and I wasn’t”t really crazy about the other two color options, especially because the fronts of the dark wood version looked so blue in a lot of pictures. I ended up with these. I will say they have a slight blue tint to them, but really look like gray in person. I am replacing a pair of Martin Logan Motion 20’s which were pretty decent for their size. The Logan’s have a much nicer cabinet finish(rosewood), but when you sit back and think how much of your dollars spent went into the cabinet vs, the quality of sound you get with the Chora 826, it’s a good sacrifice. My fiancé, who usually doesn’t notice details I tell her when I’m nerding out about fidelity, said “these kick arse”! Mind you, I have less than ten hours on them so far. I cannot wait to get to the 100hrs of run in time Focal recommends.”
