“I've had headphones by Sennheiser, AKG and AudioQuest. I was never happy in the long term with any of them. Comfort, sound, etc just never all came together. I've been very happy with the Aria 948's I purchased from Kevin. So after reading and watching many reviews I felt good about purchasing the Clear MG's. I don't have a lot of hours on them yet, but I'm already happy with the sound AND comfort. From great sounding lows to clean airy highs and a smooth mid range. These are keepers.”

“Thanks to a little advice from Upscale Audio’s Super Employee, Kat, I recently selected the Focal Clear Mg’s for my first pair of ‘serious’ headphones. Already at a decent price Upscale offers a great returning customer discount. A sweet deal in all aspects. Great detail. Very intimate sound with a wide open soundstage. I’m spoiled now! Ok, so Kat, about those headphone preamps…..”

“Amazing headphone! Beautifully crafted. Very comfortable. Sound is extremely dynamic/punchy - great for EDM and Rock. Signature is warm while not being too recessed in the highs. Resolves extremely well - so much detail! Mids are silky smooth - like maple syrup was drizzled all over”

“I moved up to the Clear MG from HD 660S. The Clears are more dynamic and have and more resolution. Th MG were great with my PS Audio strata headphone jack (a unit that I would compare to a Magni Heresy 3 and have owned both), but they really sang with a slightly warmer tube head amp. Perfect match. No regrets.”
