“The Gold Lions are to my ears, the very best new production tubes for my Princeton and Deluxe Reverb guitar amps. Clean, dirty, pedals all sound excellent. I’ve been using them for several years now. Nothing better in my opinion.”

“Wanted to try a tube upgrade for my McIntosh MA252 and for the little money it costs figured I would give them a try. Wasn't expecting to hear how these and the 12AX7A tubes transformed the music. The mid-range was much more pronounced, had better decay, guitar strings had more weight, additional clarity, the top end was clear but smoother, the bass was tighter. You could hear the brush strokes sliding on jazz, not just the noise. For my system, I can 100% recommend this as an upgrade.”

“After reading about the Gold Lions as being a noticeable upgrade for my MA 252 I thought I'd give them a shot. I do notice a difference; richer sounding, some additional detail and a slightly wider and deeper soundstage after a couple hours of listening. The improvements continued as the tubes broke in. I'm happy I made the purchase.”
