“This tube work fantastically well in my Audio Research SP-8 preamp and my Demeter VT-275 power amp. I was actually surprised, as I have not been as enthusiastic with the Gold Lion 12AX7 or 6922, which aren't bad and I'm glad they exist but don't come close to sounding as good as nice old stock tubes. These 12AT7s are quiet and sound strong and tuneful. Very happy with them.”

“Bought 2 Gold Note 12AT7 from Upscale Audio to upgrade the stock tubes in my LTA MicroZOTL Preamp, complimenting 2 JAN 6SNTGT Kenrad tubes. I've subsequently rolled these tubes with Brimar 12AT7s black plate, for comparison. Prefer the Brimar's in my system, because it has less color on the top end. This said the Gold Note is an excellent tube with great musicality and slam/detail. If you own an LTA MicroZOTL Preamp, Gold Note is a major upgrade to the stock 12AT7's.”

“This was my first time swapping out tubes. The info on your website helped me make an excellent choice. Much improvment over the Stock Mcintosh tubes in my MA352. Better Bass, Midrange and top end. Very Happy with this tube. Fast shipping was the icing on the cake. Thank You Kevin!”
