I have now replaced all of my gain tubes in my system with Gold Lions. They rule!

A solidly performing 6922. Quiet, energetic, tonally well balanced, slightly warm, but not bloated. I've tried in a CAT preamp and a AVA tubed DAC modified to accept 6922s with good results.

Had these 18 months, but used sparingly, maybe 200 hours. Used in a Modwright Phono Stage. One tube has failed almost completely, its output level is at about 20% of the other channel. Have swapped in other tubes to verify it's not the amp. Overall, rubbish value for money, about a dollar an hour until useless.

I purchased a quad of these for my Blue Circle Audio BC-202 hybrid amp, and I could not be more pleased. Beautifully rich and warm - I measure the strength of a system by the quality of the vocals, and with these tubes voices have never sounded more human. At the same time there is excellent transparency; you can hear deep into the music with plenty of space between instruments and vocals. In fact, these tubes do a far better job of revealing background vocals then the set of Tungsram NOS they replaced. Better on the low end too - bass is full, deep and articulate. However, and the reason for the lateness of this review, it took well over 100 hours for these tubes to really blossom, but when they finally did all I can say is: WOW!
