“This is why I only buy tubes from Upscale Audio. I wanted a specific tube for my Evo 300 integrated, and I’m not going to say what that tube was. Needless to say they would’ve been a lot more money for these specific tubes, I thought I needed. But was told the Kt-66 would work better and I would enjoy it more because it’s working more within the parameters of my amp. How many companies would turn away $350 on a sale to do something better for the customer, not many. I can think of a lot of places that would’ve sold me those tubes. And I would’ve been unhappy running the those tubes. This is why I shop upscale for tubes, they know their shit!”
