“I've been using Tungsram NOS 7dj8's with my PS Audio BHK pre and BKK 250 power amp, and love the sound. Anyone using Tungsram NOS 7dj8's realizes the supply is dwindling, and as a result, prices have increased substantially. I decided to try Kevin's Stash 12AU7 and couldn't be happier. In my system, the 7dj8 is a bit warmer, the 12AU7 is more detailed. Once they settled in, I like the 12AU7 pre amp, 7dj8 power amp combination better. I will continue to use Tungsram NOS 7dj8's in my BHK 250, and stay with Kevin's Stash 12AU7's for my pre amp.”

“these is a review for atmasphere mp 3 preamplifierowner.these tube matches well with the mp3 with the stock 6sn7 gt, i wanted to share my experience specially with mp3 owner.i rolled all kinds of nos tube on this one, mullard,amperex,rca,mazda and others with different output tube. i gave up on this already. and called kevin and order some tubes.now i have 50 hours on them with the stock 6sn7 and the sound is very good and super quiet as a solid state.the reason i share this experience becouse i feel your pain specially the mp3 owners try it and you will be very thankfull, brent sent me 2 pairs of telefunken smooth plate. but i told ralph that i have no urge to roll it becouse it sounded beutiful super quiet.try it 100 bucks.”
