“Replacing a set of NOS Baldwin organ tubes in my CJ-PV12L. Been running for a few weeks now. Out of the box, bigger, more well-defined soundstage. Bass much tighter. Overall, a great purchase! “I've been using Tungsram NOS 7dj8's with my PS Audio BHK pre and BKK 250 power amp, and love the sound. Anyone using Tungsram NOS 7dj8's realizes the supply is dwindling, and as a result, prices have increased substantially. I decided to try Kevin's Stash 12AU7 and couldn't be happier. In my system, the 7dj8 is a bit warmer, the 12AU7 is more detailed. Once they settled in, I like the 12AU7 pre amp, 7dj8 power amp combination better. I will continue to use Tungsram NOS 7dj8's in my BHK 250, and stay with Kevin's Stash 12AU7's for my pre amp.”
