“User manual lacks information. Unable to connect to the device over the network with ethernet or wifi. Internet radio stations are limited Unless you are a microsoft engineer, I would not recommend this product.”

“Good sound right out of the box significantly improved with an external DAC. Touch screen is very sensitive. I would recommend a tablet to control remotely (additionally this will also be much easier to see as the unit screen is small).”

“Love the RS250 even though it is a bit quirky. The touchscreen is not as precise as it could be and sometimes an App does not work. Shut down and back on and all is good. I have to say the sound is wonderful!”

“I'll admit I was skeptical at first $2500 is a lot of money and I already had a blue sound node. I purchased a new set of speakers and decided to upgrade my streamer and was concerned I was just paying for fancy features. Boy was I wrong. I immediately heard an enormous difference in imaging and sound stage. At higher volumes the clarity was still crystal clear and the distortion I heard before getting the Hifi Rose rs250 was gone. This streamer was worth every penny. If any of you have doubts about getting a better streamer and spending the money this one will put them to rest. I also love that this streamer makes my amp sound more like a tube amp.I can't say enough about the RS250. My new speakers are not even broken in and they sound so much better because of the Hifi Rose. If you have doubts take the plunge. Richard was super patient and helpful. Thank you Richard for helping make this purchase.”

Thanks for the great review, Richard! It is quite a leap of faith to buy an expensive streamer, and it's always fun to hear back from customers just how blown away they were by the improvement. Of course, the huge selling point of the HiFi Rose is that it's also a big upgrade to the user experience, right from the interactive displays (we love the FM tuner!) to all of the detailed settings.

“After speaking with Al he advised me to go with the Rose RS250. It was a little more then I planned on spending. After receiving the product I was glad I purchased this one. Hooking it up was seamless and I could not ask for anything more. Al,Thanks for the great advise.”
