“I was looking for a streamer that offered very good overall performance. As there are a handful of options available, not many offered Apple Music natively (many offer via Apple Airplay which really did not appeal to me). I primarily listen to Tidal, but also listen to Apple Music as well. I was an early adaptor with Sonos (going back a dozen years or so) and have Sonos throughout our home. I wanted to go with something hi-rez for my newly constructed primary listening room. I have owned the 250A for a few months now, but have used it mainly to break in a new system comprised of a Primaluna EVO 300 integrated amp and Focal Aria 936 speakers. I am impressed with the sound quality of the 250A. The menus, navigation and commands are not as nearly intuitive as Sonos. Now that the system is more or less broken in, I will need to spend a little more time figuring that part out. Support from MoFi could use some improvement. I had asked for descriptions and functions for the various Icons in the App and touch screen that were not intuitive and did not get a response. There is a user community site that allows users to ask and answer each other questions which can be helpful. From a build and sound quality standpoint, I am quite happy with my purchase.”
