“Five stars is assuming you don’t already have a center wait. If you have the center wait for one of the other VPI prime scout or prime, I would rate this at four stars only because it doesn’t add much benefit beyond convenience of not having to thread it onto the spindle and it’s sheer beauty. But for the cost, I think those benefits are well worth the cost especially if you enjoy shiny things to display your beautiful turntable. As far as the black O-rings, they are just decorative and serve no purpose but they do match the O-rings on your VPI peripheral ring weight if you have one and of course your drive belt.”
