My first pair of IEM's and for me I had a very hard time with the FIT and I tried everything and bought aftermarket eartips as well. The only way to get 100% fit I had to hold in place with my finger. I did not take away any stars due to my issue's. Now for me owning and coming from four highend headphones Utopia, Empyrean, Z1R, and HD800's. I really did not know what to expect, and too my surprise the Solaris was very very good. Big soundstage, imaging and with a nice clean bass response. I listen too all music genres and for some reason it was a hit or miss with them. Not to mention how well the Song was recorded. I found it can be sibilant with some songs even more than my HD800's, so the only reason why I knocked off -1 STAR. But at the end I had to much of a problem with fit almost getting 90% fit with the bother of having to hold both fingers pushing them in to make 100% I had to return them. I think I may need to try ear molds for the perfect fit. I paired the Campfire Audio Solaris with the following equipment below. DAPS: Sony NW-WM1Z and the new FiiO M11 Pro for me the Sony sounded way better and smoother. DACS: Schiit Yggdrasil A2 with Unison USB, Oppo UDP-205, Sony HAP-Z1ES, and the Holo Spring 2 & SU-1 DDR Kitsune Tuned Edition and all DACS performed extremely well with the Solaris where I used the following AMPS: Feliks Audio Euforia and my Audio Gd Master 9 both AMPS were DEAD SILENT using the stock cable.
