“My review is based upon a specific use of the Gaia I feet -- under SVS SB17-Ultra subwoofers (I have three), which rest on concrete/carpet pad/plush carpet. Originally, I had the Gaia I footers alone, and the result was, frankly, so-so because I heard a certain boominess that I thought was excessive. Then I added the IsoAcoustics Carpet Spikes (for the Gaia I) under each subwoofer. What a difference! That annoying boominess was tamed, replaced by the bass tightness I had been seeking. So, I urge anyone who has plush carpeting to think of the footer and the carpet spike as a two-part system; don't try to save a few dollars by forgoing the carpet spikes. That would be pennywise, pound-foolish. Together, true isolation is achieved.”

“This is a high-end product—both in design and performance. I installed it on my Magico A5 speakers, and it sounds just as good as it looks.
