“Hello Uncle Kev, I wrote a review on these cords and it was crappy too say the least. I had been thru everything trying to get the hum out of my sub. Well after half the night last night and 2 days before I found it. I went thru every tube amp and all the other's, interconnects and all trying to isolate it. It was my Cambridge Audio pre amp at least so far. (They also let a few of these get out that would ramp up volume by themselves and if you did not catch it, it would go full volume. It was a default and they did not think there was enough that got out for a recall. I got screwed.) Anyway I cannot explain it but this preamp is no 10000 dollar unit but for me it was not cheap either. I know, I know it does not seem too difficult to find these things but it just was not making any sense to me. High end interconnects and on. I had my amp connected with a Pangea power cord which I have had really no complaints with. Well changed it out and now I can glue my hair back onto my head. All is well. Take care. Duane.”

“for its money, the Isotek EVo3 initiam is an Ok power cord that is above and beyond a stock cord, without a doubt. But if you seriously want a high end power cord, check out the Shunyata NRV -10 or 12”
