I’m a huge JBL fan. I’ve owned 4412A and 4410A monitors for many years. I have really been enjoying my new 4312g speakers. They sound great and I was very pleased with the transaction.

First impressions: Excellent packaging. The first couple of days the 4312G's sounded boxy and muted, but after the second week the mid and high's started to blossom out. The low end has plenty of punch and extension without sounding boomy or exaggerated. I purchased the 4312G because I always wanted the 4311/4312/4412 and also because my listening area is in a medium-sized room so the 4312G being a near field monitor works for me. I played everything from Abba to Zeppelin, to 50s and 60s Blue Note Jazz and everything sounded great (even DVDs and Blu-ray's sounded good as well). I even played some poorly produced albums and the 4312G is capable of picking apart and separating the instruments. The 4312G has an accurate and dynamic sound, and anyone doubting the Magnesium/Aluminum alloy dome tweeter will find out it's not harsh nor fatiguing during long listening sessions. Overall, I am happy camper and I will not part ways with these speakers. Also, Kevin's YouTube video review of the 4312G sealed the deal for me.

thanks, just what i needed. Perfect to smooth out the low end and the crisp higher end clarity of two new Klipsch Heratage 111"s. parelled them together and i have a great "waa of "sound"...that sounds great to my ears. thanks so much. Best, Paul B.

Not my first go-around with JBL Monitors, but these are special. Once broken in, they really started to shine. The best way for me to describe them is accurate. Every instrument and vocal is presented as they should be without emphasis on anything that would take away from the recording. I have them positioned horizontally with the tweeters/mids on the outside of the woofers, 7' apart and 7' from my listening position. They are excellent mid-field monitors!
