“I purchased the JC3+ after owning and enjoying the JC3 Jr in my headphone system for the past year. The JC3+ sounds the most full bodied and revealing of all the phono preamps I currently own. The sound signature is very similar to its smaller sibling but the JC3+ is just a bit better at conveying the power and the nuances of the recorded performance. Very highly recommended. The system it is in is as follows: Hana ML, Rega P6, JC3+ running balanced to iFi iCAN Pro Signature headphone amp, then to one of several headphones such as Focal Utopia, Audeze LCD-5, HifiMAN HE1000 Stealth, HEDDphone, Meze Elite and other revealing headphones. In addition to the JC3 Jr, I have the QHW The Vinyl and a 20+ year old Musical Fidelity X-LPS v3. All fine phono preamps, but the JC3+ seems to let more of the fullness, power and delicacy of the music through. Highly recommended. I was helped by two friendly and knowledgable salespeople; Kendall and Richard. Richard "did me a solid" as we used to say back in my youth, and that made this purchasing experience exceptional.
