“Finally after almost 60 years of personal hi-fi 'audio enthusiam', I've experienced the thrill of the realization that '...a marginal return' from a big investment in fine audio need NOT be 'diminishing'! This in-person purchase, with an exceptionally fair trade-in allowance, was my most enjoyable audio experience...ever. This Parasound JC5 just "manhandles" my 4 ohm Monitor Audio Gold 200 speakers to reveal, for the first time to me, so many embedded 'new' sound layers in very familiar recordings. Every listening moment...satisfies. And, Upscale Audio treated us like VIPs. What a great day that was.”

“I've let the thing run continuously since I got it into my setup last Friday. Had to figure out to change the balance knobs...remarkable sound. The limitations in my speakers now painfully apparent at over medium volume. BTW- I DID NOT get a warranty card in the boxes. please address. thanks.”

“The amp is breaking in nicely. This amp has replaced two solid state mono amps of similar power output that retail for $40k for the pair, and I don't miss them! The amp sounds fantastic with my new pair of Magnepan 1.7x speakers, it makes them jump and dance! A tremendous value! Highly recommended!”

“I purchased it as a step up from A21 Plus, which I had stepped up from the original 21. You can hear that you stepped up another league. It's not night and day, but it's the same as when you get an eyeglass prescription, and the next lens sharpens everything. I am spoiled by Parasound being bulletproof. This feels just the same, and I expect to have it for 20 years easily. I think it is on the edge of diminishing returns, at least in my budget range. I have Kef R3 metas with 4 K62 subs. This set up still moves up the food chain with my front end, and I think the J5 is probably giving me the best, and spending more would not give a return. Customer service was top-notch and I would shop again and recommend without hesitation.”
