“Joel at Upscale helped with this purchase of Focal 906's. Out of the box i was stunned at how good they sounded and this from bookshelf speakers. Treble just right not metallic or shrill. Bass was well good enough but will hook in sub. Midrange and sound stage were excellent. Very happy with these speakers. Do not have room for floor standers but if i did they would be Focal. Will run them with Prima Luna Prologue 3 and 5. Highly recommended. Great service.”

“Originally i looked at Dynaudio, Harbeth, B&W and KEF. The Aria 906. tuned out to have equal detail and transparency to any of them, except without being laid back or having an arid and lifeless midrange. This speaker is not for those that hate detail or realistic treble. It is NOT voiced in the popular "gentle and polite" style as the others. It's more dynamic and lifelike without the metallic (or diamond ). tinge of the others. The soundstage is vivid and focused. Instrument separation is phenomenal. It truly is a better speaker than the B&W 805D, but for 1/3 the cost, If you like your music clearly and unforgivingly defined, these are for you. I purchased another set of Focals for my Home theater. I will only own Focal speakers from now on.”
