Wow. Beautiful sounding speakers. Made in France. I got the walnut, but its ugly. It looks like cheap wallpaper. The speakers themselves are nice looking. I would highly recommend all black. Maybe I'll spray- paint this fake-looking walnut with some glossy Rust-O-Leum !!!!! Looks like I gotta make a trip to the hardware store. Thanks Mr Deal, you're the reason I buy stuff from Upscale Audio !!

Like a lot of you out there I have owned and enjoyed many different loudspeakers over the years. Until recently I have enjoyed a vintage pair of Klipsch K-horns powered by McIntosh. It has always been a good pairing but I was ready for something new. I spent months researching various speaker brands, reading reviews, and searching my memories for brands and models I once owned and thought about purchasing their newest model. One brand I had never owned was Focal. I certainly remember the brand in audio circles but never pulled the trigger on a pair. I was looking through the Upscale Audio website when I came across the Focal’s again. I called the shop and got some great advice on the Aria 926, mainly due to their efficiency, speed, and tonal accuracy. I ultimately ordered a pair in Prime Walnut and I was off to the races. One they had arrived I was first impressed with their double-boxing, then the assembly was easy, and placement was straight forward. I was immediately impressed with the attack of the mid-bass and the tone of the instruments. My listening centers around rock and these speakers reproduced the guitars with clarity and separation that kept things from sounding jumbled up in a mash of sound. Anything I threw at them sounded engaging and interesting without fatigue. In every case I just enjoyed listening to these speakers. Pairing the with a subwoofer made them even more rounded and enjoyable. I highly recommend these speakers.

I bought a pair of the Focal Aria 926's in walnut finish 2 years ago. I'm using them with my Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP amp with KT120's, Primaluna Dialogue Premium preamp, & Marantz SA8005 sacd player. These speakers produce a very musical, realistic sound with detailed, clear top end, clear, natural midrange, & tight, accurate bass. They let everything you're recordings and electronics are capable of be reproduced with precision depth, soundstaging, & sonics. The build quality & performance of these speakers easily equals & rivals many other manufacturers similar models twice the price or more, believe me, Iv'e heard many! The main difference in the Aria floor standing models is more bass, not better bass. I'm sure the quality of sound I'm getting has to do with my smokin' PL tube gear, so to get the sound these speakers are capable of reproducing, I highly suggest very good electronic components, you will be very satisfied. At retail price, these are great. At Upscale Audio's sale price, they are a no brained steal. They are very balanced, revealing speaker, so the better the in, the better the out. French designed & manufactured 100%, the best speakers Iv'e owned anywhere near the price, & I paid $3000.00 a pair. I love the sound of these speakers, I think anyone will. Get em' now!
