“OMG.....i have waited since 1983 (first saw the Khorns in an audio video club on Ramstein Air Base, Germany) for these speakers.....UPSCALE informed me recently of an increase in price; I was sort of waiting to purchase when my new home was built...but.....so, the purchase process was simple and straight forward....AND i had to wait a few weeks for the speakers to be built (whats that after having waited 38 years already)....the speakers arrived, on two pallets....looked like I was receiving two king size refrigerators or something. Freight delivery guy moved them into my garage...where they sat for a week....so I watched all the UTUBE videos on unpacking and that stuff......believe this one thing if nothing else: IT DOES TAKE TWO STRONG HUMAN BEINGS TO MOVE THESE INTO LOCATION. SO, i had some friends help get them from garage into my basement area...and I took it from there. Just moving them (on a thick piece of turkish carpet) was difficult for one person....obviously, the top section was much easier. Got them wired properly and put them in a corner.....running all tube Prima Luna 400 gear; pure conditioned power; best electrical cables and inter-connects.......but I chose to listen to the test CD from UpScale on a mid level quality CD player I have....so all tracks sounded REALLY good...........so,then i put on JONI MITCHELL ..Blue Album.......and heard the perfection I have been longing for....SURE< my Klipsch Hersey-3's were decent...but my goodness, the flagship khorns are so much more.....it brought tears to my eyes and happiness to my heart....and i know, i still have nother 500 hours to break them in....along with the Prima Luna tube gear which still has another 475 hours of burn in time needed..........all i can say, is...i am not a man of means and $$ falling out of my ears, but this investment is one that will see me through retirement....STUNNING. I chose cheaper speakers all my life, from cerwin vega, Bose 901s, even the Hersey-3s....i simply settled.....and with Kat and Kevin's guidance and understanding, I got the flagship finally....best money i ever spent....except for that one day i bought that new 911...haha”

“I just got my Klipschorn AK6 speakers. Replaced my LaScalas with them. I have them paired with two 15” subwoofers only to cover the ELFs (extremely low frequencies). The best way to describe them is with one word, WOW. I typically use my RT-909 reel to reel for the source. Sometimes I use digital content like SACD. The k-horns perform stellar either way. I am VERY happy with my purchase. Get them if can.”
