“This streamer is IMO is what digital playback should sound like. The music is smooth, yet precise and the sound stage is incredible. Besides its sound, my favorite thing about this streamer is its ability to selectively upsample a particular sample rate and allow to control the bit depth as well. I personally just upsample 44.1 to 352.8, but I leave the bit-depth native. It has made many of those bad early 80's recordings sound amazing. Thank Daelan for recommending this. I could not be happier with it.”

We are not sure why the reviewer left a poor review, maybe we don't understand his words? Many reviewers and clients have raved about the LUMIN U2. They praise the sound quality: Balanced, detailed, and spacious with good bass extension, delivering a natural and musical presentation across various genres. They love the build quality: High-end construction with a premium feel and excellent craftsmanship. It utilizes an intuitive app with smooth operation and easy setup. We like to operate it with Tidal Connect or ROON. Lumin supports a wide range of streaming services and high-resolution audio formats. “After 100hrs The soundstage moved behind the speakers, with lower & more defined bass. After 200 Hours Each instrument moved to its own defined position across the soundstage, behind the speakers. Slightly lower noise floor, increasing the dynamic range (1/4 Volume ie 9:00/ Min 29 dB, Max 95db, Ave 57db) After 300 hours Lower notes in voices revealed more. The attack & decay of the drum symbols improved. After 400hrs More depth to Bass soundstage, staging more layered After 500 hrs I can now hear the air, when a flute is blown. I can distinguish the different drum skins between each other. On recordings which strings are featured, I can hear individual strings layered., and Individual percussion instruments (like chimes & bells etc) are layered across the soundstage in their own space.
