“Best sounding and, by far, the easiest streamer to set up and use that I've ever had. Bluesound, NAD, iFi, etc., were more difficult and buggier. I was constantly fiddling with one thing or another to make them work. The Lumin rocks. "Never goin' back again"”

“After trying the likes of Bluesound, Pro-Ject and PS Audio (Stellar) I have to say that this is the best (and most expensive) streamer I've had so far; the sound and instruments are fleshed out more completely than they've ever been before, and everything sounds right. The iPhone interface has worked for me without a hitch but it was a longer learning curve than either the Bluesound or Pro-ject interfaces; the Pro-Ject Lumino was buggy with occasional crashes and lopped off the very beginnings of songs or randomly ended them in the middle. I've switched the oversampling on and off for the various sampling rates on the Lumin but haven't discovered a preference yet. I don't use the volume control on it so I can't comment on that feature. Running QOBUZ through the Lumin to a Denafrips Pontus II, then through a Schiit Freya+ and then to Benchmark AHB2 amp, Buchardt S400 mkii speakers and a pair of REL t/7i subwoofers.”

“The U2 mini did not work out for me, it seems to do what it's supposed to but the LUMIN app is a deal breaker for me. Fir a product of this price that software is woefully short of the mark. Also the sound is no better than the PS Audio PerfectWave DAC so I'll just continue to feed my Mac Minis output over USB to the PS Audio Dac. I have an RA and UPS will be picking it up today so you should have it back in 7-10 days”

“Great product. Huge improvement over the iFi Zen Streamer in my system in terms of breadth/depth of soundstage, smoothness and transparency. The unit and software is a joy to use and very stable within Roon. Absolutely recommend this as an upgrade for others considering it. It is well worth the investment.”
