“I’ve owned this amp since December 2020 and it sounds great in my system. The one and only fault I can give it is that the mother board crapped itself out in April and it needed to be sent in to be fixed. I was told 2 weeks turnaround which ended up being 4 1/2 weeks :/ Once it was returned it was a joy to use and listen to Tidal again. Now it’s July and the motherboard crapped itself again! I’ve emailed Michal at Mytek and received and apology for this happening a second time and an offer for it to be fixed. I’ve asked for a brand new BB instead of repairing my current unit. I’m waiting for an answer. I’d really like to upgrade to the BB2 but I’m beginning to lose faith in Mytek. I’ll keep everyone updated on my situation.”

“Everything Mytek is superb. Euphonic DAC, but accurate, good dynamics. Great signal quality- happy. But, the converse streamer on the other hand is a little janky. Once a day I have a mismatch between roon and the bridge creating a too fast or too slow situation like changing rpm's of a record. Roon loses communication with the bridge every other day. I shuffle a library of tidal and Qobuz albums 600 deep 8-12 hours a day, MQA streams to DSD on NAS. Your results may vary. If the sound weren't as good as it is, I'd return it due to the periodic trouble. But the sound IS so far worth it. So here I am. Mytek tech support working on my issues. Unclear if resolution forthcoming. Oh, and this baby runs hot. Make some space.”
