“First of all, I was pleasantly surprised to recieve my Monitor Audio Silver 500 7Gs from Upscale Audio so quickly. Really prompt service! Set up was very easy and right from the start, the 500 7Gs sounded wonderful. Gradually as time progressed they subtly improved even more. The sound stage, clarity, spaciousness is truly first rate. I'm also amazed at the build quality. The pair are matching veneers. I'm really surprised at the reasonably asking price. The 500 7Gs are flat out, beautiful! Upscale audio guarentees satisfaction and they get my recommenation!”

“I have about 100 hours on the 500 7Gs now. Just really started listening to them. They sound very nice. Clear, Clean and open. I am running them with my Parasound A21 and they can play very loud and strongly without sounding stressed. My room is 14 x 12 ft with an 8-foot ceiling. Based on some comments I had seen, I was a little worried that they might be too much for my small room, but everything works nice. The Speaker placement CD and Always Great Service from Upscale make it even better.”

“I lived with.silver 300,s/6g series for about 4yrs,(a great speaker). I thought I’d try the new silver 500,s/7g,s. To start with, they take at least 50 hours before they start to break in. After about 70-80 hours they finally start warming up, I found they needed to be driven a little harder before the drivers loosened up. At about 100 hours now I’d have to say they really are a improved version of my 300,s. They are more refined, they seem to have a more natural balance, they image better, and do go a little deeper. I’m still moving them a inch or two and tuning them a bit but at this point I’d have to say they are a really fine loudspeaker, especially at the price point!”
