“These tubes were disappointing when we initially tried them as the 6922 input tubes for our Art Audio PX25 amp & Art Audio Simply 2 preamp. However, after only a few short hours of burn-in, they blossomed... deep bass, extended highs, midrange clarity, and airy vocals - remarkably better than the Art Audio factory issued green script Amperexes; better than our other NOS tubes (Tesla, Siemens, Reflector, PQ Amperex, Telefunken, etc). These Matsushita 7DJ8 tubes have a 3D holographic effect & airiness none of our other NOS tubes possess and lift the veils so often referred to in reviews. Well worth the price of admission; our system (Avantgarde Duos, Antipodes K30, Wavelength Cosecant, Synergistic Research, etc) has never sounded this good (and indeed it sounds great). Truly... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
