“They sure do love CJ amplifiers. Thanks for the recommendation. I've used vintage tungsols/vintage RCA cleartops/vintage phillips and this is hands down the best. Pity is how long it took me to buy them.”

“I use the Mazda 6CG7 in my Stax SRM 007t. What an upgrade in soundquality! The Mazdas are very sensitiv, a lot more details. Not as punchy as the RCAs, but perfect for instrumental music, espesially classic.”

“In the past fifteen years, I have owned, or still own, tube components by Melos, Audible Illusions, JoLida, Dynaco, and Conrad-Johnson. SO I've done plenty of tube swapping. But I can't think of a single instance where replacing a pair of tubes has made such as sonic difference as when I replaced the stock 6FQ7 tubes in the Conrad-Johnson Premier 11a with these Mazda's. I have replaced most of the stock parts in this amp: bucket loads of film capacitors, diodes, rectifier bridges and resistors, almost always to good effect, and sometimes dramatically better effect. Having what I feel to be a very revealing component best facilitates judgement of the sonic attributes of tubes. The Mazda's give a more harmonically vivid, dynamic presentation with greater frequency extension in both directions. As LaBarca stated, these tubes draw the listener into the music in a manner that the comparatively lifeless stock 6FQ7 tubes could not. Highly recommended.”
