“I wanted some time with these tubes, after a few weeks of listening they have really blossomed. My Stax SRM-007tII is a different amp, more liquid and revealing not to mention the toe tapping draw you in to listen to some more music, I can't get enough, just what the doctor ordered. There was a well worth it feeling after immediate install and biasing, but after a few weeks they are definitely worth it with one caveat, you must love the amp as it is, these tubes just take it to another level. I can only compare it to the Blue Hawaii and the Blue Hawaii it is not, but if you are a lower volume listener and with the cost savings considered this is a bargain. The amp is very musical and incredibly revealing without strain at all, it draws you in for more listening. I listen to a variety of music from classical, big band, country and Rock in Roll (Older stuff, Led Zeppelin, Ted Nuggent) it does justice to all but does excel with quality ambient recorded material. Different mood different music which does strain me to find something that will fit the bill. I am very Happy I was Happy before these new Tubes but now I am Ecstatic. If they are in your budget you won't be disappointed. My equipment is: Computer with as much High Res Music Versions of what I like, prefer DSD but not a deal killer. Denafrips Terminator DAC.
