“After trying for years to get a replacement stylus for the old sure cartridge for my 1960 Garrard Model A, I decided to get the Music Hall 1.5 turntable with an Ortofon 2m78 cartridge. I used cryo-treated Kimber interconnects with an Origin Live 'Enabler' between the cartridge and headshell to reduce feedback vibrations from the tonearm. Plugged into the phono stage of an old Yamaha reciever....and Wow! I have never heard wwii records sound so good, and with an inboard phono stage! Can not wait to get a Schitt Audio Mani phono preamp in the mix.”

“The Music Hall MMF 1.5 has gone from being my primary turntable, to reserve, and then back to my primary turntable for daily listening. In between those transitions, there were several other turntables, including an automatic, which I purchased and tried to live with but never seemed to get the job done. What I really like about the MMF 1.5 is that it is a traditionalist turntable. There's nothing fancy to it. No advanced materials, carbon tonearm, etc. It's not gimmicky. It does the job of playing vinyl consistent well without any fuss. Plus I like the capability of being able to swap out cartridges quickly with the interchangeable head shells. Lastly, it is a really good looking turntable.”
