This is my first turntable after getting back onto vinyl. Received as a birthday gift from my wife. Very happy with it. Dead easy setup; up and running after 10 mins. Pairing it with the MM stage in my Rotel 1592. Already upgrading the cartridge to a Clearaudio Panzerholz Jubilee. Looking forward to that upgrade over the included Ortofon 2M Red. Will wait a bit on a phonostage upgrade. Thanks, Sean-Paul for all of your upgrade advice!

I received this amazing turntable just the other day. It was well packaged; double-boxed by Music Hall and in a peanut-packed shipping box from Upscale. Everything was present and accounted for, and set-up was mostly a breeze. I say mostly only because I swapped out the included Red for my Ortofon 2M Black cartridge straight away and was used to working with a detachable headshell. With the bonded headshell of the MMF, it was a bit more finicky to swap carts. But that's on me, otherwise, it would have been ready to go in about 10 minutes. This is my first audiophile-grade turntable and thus far it has delivered everything I was hoping for and more. It's super quiet in operation, providing a very low noise floor and super black background. Bass is deep and tight, mids are lush, and highs are sweet. Outstanding imaging and separation. Again, everything I was expecting from my first "big-boy" turntable. I have very eclectic music tastes and everything I threw at it sounded better than I've ever heard. As Roy Hall has said in several interviews, the focus of Music Hall is on "musicality" and this table has that in droves. While I did a lot of initial "oh, let me listen to this, now that, and oh what about that," I found after a while that I just wanted to keep listening to whatever I had on, the music just kept pulling me in. For others, like me, that are looking for an entry-level table that will blow them away, I cannot recommend the MMF 3.3 highly enough. Great shipping and customer service from Upscale Audio, and a great product from Music Hall!
